CTV news anchors' eyebrow raising

I’ve noticed that (Canadian TV channel) CTV news anchors
have a habit of regularly raising their eyebrows, I guess
to try and get viewers to raise their eyebrows. I find it
rather annoying. Does anyone else find it annoying, and
also do news anchors on any other channels or networks
do this as well?

Laura Coates of CNN doesn’t do the eyebrow raising, but
she does do a lot of blinking at times.
